Roberta Bondar :
She went to space in 1992 just the first Canadian woman in the space.
She was born in Sault ste. Marine. Ontario on December 4,1945
She graduated from Sir. James Dunn High School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and agriculture from the University of Guelph (1968).
She also pursued her interests in photography, with emphasis on natural environments.
She is the author of photo essay books featuring her photography of the hearth.

Julie Payette
She was born in Montreal in 1963.
Payette enjoys running,skiing, racket sports and scuba diving.
She has a commercial pilot licence with float rating. 
She attended primary and secondary school in Montreal.
She is computer engineering from Queens University in 1999, university Ottawa in 1999 and Simon Fraser university in 2000.
